Bürstner's Club

BÜRSTNER’S CLUB is a multidisciplinary and immersive proposal inspired by the community life characteristic of travelling circus companies that still travel the world in a traditional way. There, among circus tents and caravans, small groups of people face the blessings and hardships of life all together, like a family. 

The play features seven characters in a place distanced from civilization where loneliness and a sense of community are mixed with a bitter-sweet and tragicomic tone. The show is notable for its realistic mise en scène in contrast to the surrealism of the story it tells, and the toughness of the circus numbers.
