FALL IN LOVE WITH FITT!

Theatre is transformative and constantly evolving. It is the only live art that will never die. Neither the internet, new technologies, nor artificial intelligence will make it disappear.

For this simple and categorical reason, we must keep it present in our lives. Because somehow, we always leave a show different from how we entered it.
It’s a moment in life that helps us grow emotionally and intellectually.

Over the eleven editions of FITT – New Dramaturgies, all kinds of artists, creators, and companies from around the world have passed through, helping us better understand the world we live in. They have allowed us to discover and love names from the international scene. To laugh, to be moved, or even to get angry.

It has also allowed us to reconnect with people we only see during the festival once a year. But we look forward to FITT arriving so we can enjoy it and share experiences.
Little by little, thanks to this, we have grown: twelve editions. Fifteen years of hard work to make Tarragona a meeting point for international performing arts.

But, as always, this doesn’t happen by itself. Every year, you make the festival happen. Yes, you. Spectators, collaborators, volunteers, administrations, organizations, sponsors, and more. The International Theatre Festival of Tarragona is already yours, and I hope it will be for many more years to come.
