DONDE SE DESCOMPONEN LAS COLAS DE BURROS

The play deals with the characters’ struggle to protect their families from a seemingly inexorable fate: young people lost in a present slipping away from them, tangled in the web of faceless adults’ interests. Ordinary people at the mercy of a state that is both absent and authoritarian. It is a dangerous world of betrayals and rewards, of ambiguous accusations for crimes that are unclear themselves. The hope of recovering loved ones fades away, leaving no trace of their story, record of their name, or of their pain.

This is a multidisciplinary proposal that emphasizes the use of a non-ordinary body; a musical, visual, and dance experience that uses cinematic resources, audiovisual interventions, and sound installations, alluding to the deeper meaning of the theatrical text. A language with a fragmentary vocation that has a direct relationship with the shattered world of the characters as conceived by the author.
